The County Governor must help to implement national agricultural policy by providing information and administering resources and measures that are tailored to local needs. The County Governor’s responsibilities in the agricultural sphere are generally linked to the administration of funding and compensation schemes.
The County Governor offers advice and provides information on the use of policy instruments to municipalities, the Agricultural Council and businesses within the farming and agricultural sectors. The County Governor must work proactively and serve as a driving force in value generation and development within the sector.
